Amara’s awesome Mommy, Jenna, had foot surgery on Friday. She is in a huge bandage and walking boot, although she isn’t up for much walking yet. Jenna doesn’t deal well being laid up. She’s not very good at putting her feet up and letting other people take care of her, by this I mean Justin. And this is exactly what she needs to do — put her feet up. Mostly she is bored!
Because of Jenna’s surgery we decided to postpone celebrating Grampy’s birthday until next Sunday when she is feeling better. It is a good thing we decided to do that as Grampy spent his birthday at the Urgent Care Center and waiting to get prescriptions filled. He has a very bad ear infection which is the result of a really bad cold he had a couple of weeks ago.
Amara and Grandma Kc would like them both to please get well!

Best wishes for quick recovery for both … and a splendid birthday celebration! We’re celebrating PawDad’s birthday Sunday, too, even though the big day was the second. The reason for the wait? We postponed until Bubby’s visit this weekend! I’ll be thinking of your family celebrating at the same time as ours. Enjoy!
