I was thinking that Amara had spent New Years eve with us every year but I guess I was wrong. I went back looking for pictures from January 1 of each year and couldn’t find one for when she was 3 and I can’t imagine that I wouldn’t have taken pictures. But it was fun to look back on each year and see how much she has changed but at the same time how much she is the same — just a bigger version.

Awwww … the pictures are adorable. It’s amazing how much she’s changed .. but yet, she hasn’t! I’m so glad you all have so many wonderful memories! You missed your calling, big sister! You should have been a photographer and a writer! xoxo

What a great tradition! We’ve been having friends over on New Year’s Eve for several years, but honestly, I’d just as soon have the grandkids over for a sleepover!
It is so much fun! We even watched a the Ball drop in New York on Grandma’s computer — only it was from last year. She didn’t know.
