Today Amara turned eight years old. Last night she had a slumber party here at our house with 6 of her best girl friends. Mommy and Daddy spent the night, too and so did one of the other Moms. It was a wonderful party and I will be back to tell you all about it but first I must share this!
Grampy and I are big on watching the morning news and we always tease Amara that she wants to have coffee and watch the news with us! And each year I say I am going to send her picture in for the birthday announcements and this year thanks to some gentle prodding by Grampy I actually got it done!

In case Grampy doesn’t see this and reply, Wallace and Gromit are Claymation characters. Very G rated and very cute! Wallace is kind of a clumsy inventor and Gromit is his dog. They are just fun to watch for any age.
