I was thinking that Amara had spent New Years eve with us every year but I guess I was wrong. I went back looking for pictures from January 1 of each year and couldn’t find one for when she was 3 and I can’t imagine that I wouldn’t have taken pictures. But it was fun to look back on each year and see how much she has changed but at the same time how much she is the same — just a bigger version.

Awwww … the pictures are adorable. It’s amazing how much she’s changed .. but yet, she hasn’t! I’m so glad you all have so many wonderful memories! You missed your calling, big sister! You should have been a photographer and a writer! xoxo
Thank you baby sister! I do love to write, I always have. As for the photography — I just have a very good subject! xoxox
The pictures are so adorable. She is such a pretty little girl and looks so full of life and happiness.
Thanks Janet! She really is a little giggle girl! She brings so much joy into our lives.
What a great tradition! We’ve been having friends over on New Year’s Eve for several years, but honestly, I’d just as soon have the grandkids over for a sleepover!
It is so much fun! We even watched a the Ball drop in New York on Grandma’s computer — only it was from last year. She didn’t know.
Really nice to see these. I’ve said it again, and I’ll say it before, of all the digitals, photography is the greatest, because it preserves memories that would go dim and eventually fade entirely. Thanks grammy.
Happy New Year to you too! I checked your blog yesterday to see if you had Christmas pics up yet….
She is so adorable, each and every year! Happy New Year to you, too, and to that happy family of yours, too!
Incredibly cute! How fun to have a picture for each year on a special day. Thanks for linking with me 🙂
