The other morning before Grampy went out to jump rope, he stomped around the house grumbling “Where is all the scotch tape?” When he came back in the office later he found this in his inbox.
Subject: The answer to the age old question
Where did all the scotch tape go?
This post has been linked to the GRAND Social blogging event at Grandmas Briefs.
And the scissors? I have that same problem with pens. They congregate.
Yes, I’ve also noticed that if I can’t find a post-it – go look on Amara’s dresser!
I remember going to Josh’s room whenever I couldn’t find something like this. At least we know where to start looking!!
Oh, boy, does that look familiar!
I’m kind of a freak about scissors and tape. It comes from living in a family of nine and never being able to find either. It is way wrong how many pairs of scissors and rolls of tape I have. I give tape as gifts to little children for the joy of taping up anything that will hold still.
I’m with Kimberly. You can never have too many pairs of scissors or too many rolls of tape! Another office supply mystery–when you pick up a pen and it’s out of ink, why do you stick it back where you got it instead of throwing it away?
Probably for the same reason that kids/husbands will put the empty milk carton back in the frig!
It’s a mystery! Though I’m a putter-backer where it belongs and hubby is a putter-downer wherever he was using it!! Loses his phone and coffee cup a lot… 🙂
You have just described my husband!
Cute!
I’m that way mostly with my glasses. I swear! Maybe I should use some scotch tape (which I can usually find) to tape them to my head.
A certain Grampy I know almost never puts things back. I love him but it is really annoying because he then expects me to find whatever it is he didn’t put away!
Furthermore! Amara hasn’t gotten any better! The other day she couldn’t find her scissors or a pencil. She has pencil boxes etc of every color in her room but she can’t find a pencil — until she opened one of those boxes! Again like Grampy she doesn’t look. She expects things to jump into her hand! When we got done with our craft I told her to go put her pencil and scissors away so she would know where they were next time. I found them later on this same dresser!
Well… at least it was out in the open. Good Luck if my graddaughter La Princesa gets it. She thinks it’s a hoot seeing us down on the floor looking for things- especially when we need help getting back up. ; ) Here from the Grand Social; BB2U.
Now that is funny! Amara would definitely do something like that if she thought of it! Hope she doesn’t read this and get ideas! Thanks for stopping by!
